As the Business Coordinator, you will be fundamental to supporting RLT’s day-to-day operations and programming. In addition to working with team members across the organization, your role will interact with many branches of our community, including production and teaching artists, individual donors, rental groups, and our incredible community of volunteers! Providing a central support system for our volunteer program, you will be the first contact for prospective volunteers, establish and maintain protocols for recruitment and orientation, and coordinate recruitment and appreciation events. Some of your additional responsibilities will include:

  • Administration and management of contracts for all production and teaching artists.
  • Preparation and distribution of first rehearsal paperwork and compilation of playbill information for all productions.
  • Acknowledgement and database management for individual giving.
  • Communication, management, and coordination of all venue rental inquiries and events.
  • Maintenance and coordination of organizational calendars.


Hours and location: Flexibility in day-to-day hours and working location. Some night and weekend hours and on site work will be necessary.

Salary: $36,000
This full-time, exempt position includes health, vision, retirement, and life insurance benefits and flexible PTO.

Reports to: Business Manager


You are organized, detail oriented, and excel at managing a variety of projects simultaneously. Working independently and collaboratively, you can strike a balance between juggling all the details and executing them successfully while proactively identifying and implementing strategies that ensure programs run smoothly and sustainably for all involved.

You have excellent customer service and communication skills, both oral and written, as well as the ability to effectively interact with individuals of varied ages, backgrounds, and abilities. You are adept at anticipating the needs of all stakeholders and can head off challenges before they arise.

You have strong computer and database management skills and the ability to use existing technology to achieve desired results. If you have experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases, that’s a plus.
