WHAT YOU’LL DO…

As the Lead Box Office Associate, you will support the day-to-day operations of RLT’s box office for all theatre productions and events. From assisting patrons with ticket sales and questions to maintaining our ticketing system and customer database, you will often be the first point of contact for RLT patrons and a part of welcoming them into our theatre community. You will work closely with the Box Office Supervisor to maintain policies, procedures, and ticketing systems, ensure consistent operations, and cover shifts as needed. You will also support RLT’s volunteer programs by assisting in the coordination of front of house volunteers, collecting and maintaining volunteer data, and supporting volunteer intake and reporting.

A FEW DETAILS…

Hours and location: RLT anticipates that this position will need approximately 10-15 hours per week. Regular availability on weekday afternoons and on evenings and weekends in line with RLT’s performance schedule will be necessary. This may include weekend on call hours. All work will be on site at RLT.

Salary: $12/hour

Reports to: Box Office Supervisor

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF…

You are organized, detail oriented, and excel at managing a variety of projects simultaneously.

You have excellent customer service and communication skills, both oral and written, as well as the ability to effectively interact with individuals of varied ages, backgrounds, and abilities.

You have strong computer skills and the ability to use existing technology to achieve desired results. Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases or electronic ticketing systems is preferred. Cash handling experience is also preferred.
